( NOT BEAR SAFE )
And that was last week. She was my father's, but I devoured her heart to gain the strength of the bear kingdom. It has given me a strong desire to swat things and smear myself in honey. Possibly more body hair.

| Slap Chop II: Auto-tune Strikes Back |
[07 May 2009|03:57pm] |
If you guys haven't seen this yet, you need to. Some say Auto-tune is killing America. Killing it softly, with it's songs of perfect pitch. I will enjoy this death.

I had a final today at 1:30 PM.
I discovered this when my professor emailed me at 7:30 PM, inquiring as to my whereabouts.

MARCH 27--Meet Vince Shlomi. He's probably better known to you as the ShamWow Guy, the ubiquitous television pitchman who has been phenomenally successful peddling absorbent towels and food choppers. Shlomi, 44, was arrested last month on a felony battery charge following a violent confrontation with a prostitute in his South Beach hotel room.
He'll have you saying wow every time.

I have just stood up and walked out of my math exam. I looked at the exam, laughed, handed it back, and left. It was pointless to take it, as only one of two counts and I aced the last one, but it's an odd feeling. I dislike feeling stupid, and I dislike giving up. Especially when it comes down to my major.
I have discovered recently that my ostrich-like attitude of sticking my head in the sand and pretending that graduation, and thus real life, is not hurtling towards me at an ever-increasing pace is down right stupid. However, I still cannot help but do it. Spring break needs to be super-awesome-catchup-time.
However, I've also discovered that there are people in this world who are willing to spend a lot of time, effort, and money to come see me without much convincing. I am honored, slightly perplexed. I know I'm awesome, I'm just unused to people acting on it. Slightly concerned at the prospect of losing valuable catchup time over break, but that time was likely to be wasted anyway.
Any suggestions as to what bits of NYC would impress one who has never been here before? I need to plan out my tour guide itinerary.

| It's time to roll up my damn sleeves. |
[19 Feb 2009|04:16pm] |

While I am not one to normally complain, I have just discovered that on top of a midterm, one that's become a little more in depth than anticipated, and a presentation, the material that I have to cover having been expanded tenfold last minute, I also have a term paper with a mysterious due date that I don't know about. The midterm and presentation are both tomorrow. I believe Seinfeld speaks for us all:

I got my 1099 tax info in the mail today from one of my employers.
It was addressed to "The Most Illustrious and Undeniably Stylish Tadas."
I swear, law offices will hire anyone these days.

| First final: Go-time! |
[16 Dec 2008|08:19am] |
I have officially made it through the entire semester of Linear Algebra without once opening my text-book or actually moving it from it's initial location when it got home.
We'll have to see how wise of a move this was once I actually get home from this test.
